Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional, old boleros along with traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. At the age 16, she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense training in singing. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. While a young student and professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. She is passionate about singing, music as well as the arts keeps her engaged in local projects in both her capacity as an artist and teacher. Ana has also been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage other people to follow in her footsteps.
