Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American model, television host, comic and host. Panganiban is dubbed the "new Queen of Drama" by a variety of media publications. It was her first time as a contestant to ever be second. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in the year 2012. She was 4 at when she was diagnosed. The cause of her illness was an aggressive strain of strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO, a life-saving intervention. The patient became sick, and suffered organ failure including kidneys which did not heal. It was her new normal to have peritoneal and then hemolysis. After spending 80 consecutive days in hospital, from death to recovery, she finally got home, however the course of her life changed forever. Angelica had been being on dialysis for the past year and a half until she finally was able to undergo the most important operation of her existence, a kidney transplant. It was her mother who donated her kidney. Angelica together with her mom, underwent a successfully kidney transplantation on September 13th 2013 in two amazing hospitals that were close to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always wanted to be an actress and a singer, is still pursuing that goal.
